Jessica Price is the driving force behind AUSTINDEEP—a visionary who has spent over two decades reshaping whatʼs possible in therapeutic bodywork. Originally from South Texas, Jessica moved to Austin in the late 1990s, discovering her passion for massage while working as a receptionist at a holistic health clinic. By the age of 20, she had found her calling, quickly realizing her innate talent for understanding the bodyʼs needs and the transformative power of touch.
Jessicaʼs journey was marked by curiosity and a commitment to excellence. Early exposure tophysical therapy and holistic health gave her a unique perspective, especially regarding fascia — the connective tissue that plays a crucial role in how our bodies move and feel. Recognizing gaps in traditional massage, Jessica developed The DEEP™ Method: a fascia-first, science-backed approach that delivers real, lasting relief rather than fleeting relaxation.
Since founding AUSTINDEEP in 2002 at just 25 years old, Jessica has relentlessly pursued her mission: to elevate the standard of care in massage therapy and create meaningful career paths for therapists. The academy offers a unique, fast-tracked massage licensing program—at no cost for those who qualify—making quality massage education more accessible and affordable than ever.
With small cohorts and hands-on mentorship, every student receives personalized attention and direct guidance. The curriculum is immersive, rigorous, and rooted in the latest fascia science.
Graduates move quickly from licensure to advanced DEEP™ Method training—and from there, into careers at AUSTINDEEP, where starting salaries range from $5,000 to $6,000 per month.
Jessica’s advocacy also helped pass state legislation in Texas that now allows half of all required massage training hours to be completed online—lowering barriers for aspiring therapists, single parents, and career changers across the state.
